Throughout the Duchy Hotel Group we have a variety of function rooms to choose from to ensure you achieve the right feel for your wedding so, whether you want an intimate dinner for close family members or a ballroom with a large dance floor for a disco, we have a venue that will literally make your day.

Our Wedding Venues

The Palace Hotel, Paignton

The hotel has three function rooms to choose from depending on the size of your party.

The Paris Restaurant is our largest suite for up to 75 people and boasts high ceilings and stunning chandeliers which all add to its relaxing, friendly ambience.

The Singer Room, with its pastel mural depicting the amazing life of the Singer family and ornamental coving, can seat up to 40 guests or host a casual evening function of up to 70.

For a more intimate dining experience with smaller numbers, we have the contemporary yet classic Isadora Room with uninterrupted views across Paignton Seafront.

The Headland Hotel, Torquay

The hotel has three function suites each offering different facilities that lend themselves to suit your individual requirements.

The Grand Lounge, with its ornate decorative coving and twelve glass chandeliers, is our most popular room for Civil Weddings and is licensed for ceremonies of up to 60 people. The room is also ideal for holding a Wedding Breakfast for up to approximately 50 guests or an evening function for up to 100 guests. For summer weddings, this room has the advantage of opening onto our sun terrace overlooking our tropically heated outdoor swimming pool.

The Romanoff Restaurant is our largest function suite ornately decorated with a palatial feel and boasting some magnificent sea views across Torbay and is ideally suited for Civil Ceremonies and Wedding Breakfasts to cater for larger numbers.

The Hydro Suite comprises a large dance floor, bar and comfortable seating. It is perfect for Civil Ceremonies, afternoon functions requiring a buffet style Wedding Breakfast and evening functions catering for up to 150 guests.

The Queens Hotel, Paignton

Our restaurant at the Queens Hotel with its beautiful, elegant skylight and open archways creates a spacious and relaxed feeling for any dining experience and can comfortably hold 120 guests for an afternoon wedding breakfast.
